Privacy

What PlainKit stores, and what it never touches.

Runs locally

Input, files and results stay in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded.

  • Your input stays in this tab’s memory.
  • Processing happens in the page or a Web Worker. There is no data path to a server.
  • Results leave the page only when you copy or download them.

Stored on this device

  • tool_state — tool id, favorite, hidden, use count, last used, tool options.
  • app_settings — theme, language and layout preferences.

Never stored anywhere

  • Tool input
  • File names and file contents
  • Results
  • Tokens, keys and certificates

Works offline

The app shell and the tools you have opened are cached on this device, so they keep working without a network. Only PlainKit’s own files are cached, never your input.
