Input, files and results stay in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded.
- Your input stays in this tab’s memory.
- Processing happens in the page or a Web Worker. There is no data path to a server.
- Results leave the page only when you copy or download them.
Stored on this device
- tool_state — tool id, favorite, hidden, use count, last used, tool options.
- app_settings — theme, language and layout preferences.

- Tool input
- File names and file contents
- Results
- Tokens, keys and certificates
Works offline
The app shell and the tools you have opened are cached on this device, so they keep working without a network. Only PlainKit’s own files are cached, never your input.
